Chris had a great week.  As a true freshman he wrestled several upperclassman and impressed all with is performance.  He is definitely going to be a wrestler to watch in the future with his wrestling style and the powerful legs he throws in.

In his last match he went toe to toe with Hickory's tough senior Kyle Curling.  The match was decided by a point in Hickory's favor when Chris could not manage the tilt in the end.

Young Mansfield really came alive in the third period. It was 6-0 after two periods, but in the third period, Curling took top. Mansfield reversed him and "threw the boots in" and turned Curling for three. It was a very tough ride by Mansfield. Good job for a freshman.
